Toshiba Satellite P100

Toshiba Satellite P100

Mark: Bad

I have a new Toshiba P100 laptop working with the SNAP driver.

It is a wide screen 1440 x 900

Detect Monitor results in "unknown"

I have the screen set to 1440 x 900, 16M colours. DPMS & GTF enabled.

The problem is that the desktop is bigger than the screen.

Also, clicking the Advanced button does nothing, but SNAP utilities work fine from the command line.

You should also know that the dsdt tables need hacking, several linux threads on this. I have tried a hacked dsdt with dismal results. Will try with latest ACPI when I have time.

Ideas for the developers:

DevCon: Every system utility should be multilanguage. Every application should be multilanguage. We recommend to use LANGE library.
