ABIT AW9D-MAX (QuadCore)

Mark: Average

2007/07

Abit AW9D-MAX works here, eCS 1.5. At the moment with Celeron D, if money comes it'll be quad or duo.

BIOS have to be ver 13, I run 15.

Had to download rtgnda12.zip for TCP/IP, a newer one is floating around, but this works.

ISTR just one IDE, but plenty SATA.

2007/09

I am now runing RC2 on a Quad core Q6600, when doing a Gamma Correction in PMView it is almost instantly and in eCenter the percentages varies for all four 'CPU's. SeaMonkey starts in about 5 secs after boot, but is up in less than two for the next starts. The automagic CPU-fan runs louder than in Windoze, but it varies.

Had to copy in the RTGNDA121 driver for TCP/IP.
