The only on-board device that's not working is Firewire -- but I wasn't expecting this to work anyway.
Is there some way I can change my evaluation of this board from bad to good -- or delete my original report and post a new one? |

The on-board sound works (sort of) with UniAud 1.1.4RC2 (not at all with RC3 or RC4, which even interfere with functioning of the networking too). With RC2 the sound is erratic: the sound on YouTube videos, for example, is sometimes fine, sometimes "choppy" -- even on the same video. |

2008-02-20 16:33:40 | I tried the M2N-SLI deluxe with eCS 2.0 RC4 and used the included NVETH4 from nikk (also availlable on hobbes). SMP and LAN are functioning stable and correct, but i had to rem out the uniaudio drivers. SATA II disks work reliably and fast using the DANIS driver from RC4. e-Sata Disks work fine too, but hot plug is not possible (you have to connect it before you boot). USB disks are working and fast (I used a 500 GB SATA II JFS disk). |
