I have been looking into removeable external storage devices for ECS 1.2R, for
purposes such as data transfer and backup (in my situation a lan is not
worthwhile or convenient).
I thought a floppy drive should be nice and easy. I got a
Freecom USB floppy drive advertised for Windows and Mac. It says on the
label "Manufactured for Freecom by Nec". There is a reserved drive for an
add-on floppy. I plug it in and it is immediately identifiable as an Nec
device. Works straight out of the box, nice and easy.
