Mark: Bad

  • Similar specs to P5Q Deluxe, but no COM port, only 1 LAN port.
  • This motherboard uses an Attansic/Atheros LAN chip that is unique to Asus and is *not* supported by GenMac. Installing gigabit NICs in a PCI slot resulted in very poor performance.
  • Onboard sound is also a "secret" Realtek chipset unique to Asus, also unsupported.

    Avoid this motherboard.
