Parameters of MB:
- MB - Intel Desktop Board D945GCLF2
- Onboard CPU - Intel Atom 330 1.6 GHz
- RAM - 1 Gb
- HDD - SATA 500 GB WD5000AAKS SATA II 7200 rpm 16mb
- Video - Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 (video driver: Panorama VESA)
- Sound - Intel High Definition Audio/AC'97 (driver: Uniaud)
- I/O - Intel I/O Controller Hub 7(ICH7)
Before installation:
- disable Hyper-threading in in BIOS setup
- remove all adapters
During installation:
- don't sort Config.sys
- select installation of ACPI.
- select network adapter: IBM NULL MAC driver.
- The 1-st stage is slow because of HWMERGE.CMD - kill it using Ctrl-Esc and Ctrl-С), the installation continues
After installation:
- SMP kernel + ACPI params: ACPI /SMP /APIC
- Install network: (GENMAC220.wpi from ftp.netlabs.org)
Conclusion:
- we have 2 CPUs
- working sound
- video works
- USB works
