  • eCS 2.1 installs fine with AHCI drivers. System would not install with non-AHCI drivers.
  • Sound does not work (the board was specced with Realtek ALC889, but my board has NVidia audio, apparently, UniAud detects it, but doesn't give me anything).
  • Networking is close to functional (The spec was Realtek 8111E, but I got Realtek 8111E/F) but since the board has 2 PCI slots it's easy (and cheap) to add appropriate cards.

I'm afraid my experiences with this board (so far) are slightly different. My setup:

SATA set for AHCI, native mode disabled, and in the pre-setup menu AHCI selected. First phase seems to go OK, but after the reboot I get a trap on OS2BOOT.

Suggestions appreciated.

Problem with Trap 0001 in OS2BOOT (mostly) solved (thanks David)! Crucial was to have BIOS setting:

Integrated Peripherals:

PCH SATA Control Mode AHCI

SATA Port0-3 Native Mode Enabled
