The project was started in 2005. Several monthes ago we have accumulated all our resources so new version was released!

To prevent Desktop crashes

We recommend install small utility to every eCS PC: Desktop Maintenance Tool (DMT). Every time your system starts, DMT checks and corrects errors in the system's INI files that might prevent the WPS from operating properly. If the errors can not be fixed, DMT offers to restore these files from backups. Once a day, DMT also cleans the INIs, removing entries that refer to files you have deleted.

The week is dedicated to collection of info about compatible/non-compatible laser printers (personal, budged, PS). Our database contains 313 records only... Major part of the models are not manufactured anymore. Post new reports using the web-form.

Attention! The developers of solutions are interested to know the list of unsupported devices.

What is the driver? Is it Postscript printer? Do you use CUPS driver? Do the instructions help you?

ACPI package 3.21.01 has been released

David Azarewicz have released version 3.21.01 of the ACPI software package.

This version has the following changes:

• Updated to ACPICA version 20120711.
• Fixed problems with the MADT parser.
• Adjusted the PCI configuration fixup routines to mask problems with questionable hardware in low end systems. (This does not affect normal systems.)
• Makefile and Warpin installer changes.
• Added /CPUMASK option for systems that cannot disable hyperthreading in the BIOS.
• Removed unneeded kernel patch (EOI).
• Added a function to the toolkit API (PerpareToSleep).
• Documentation updates.

Recovery after crash

eComStation.RU site survived the largest crash (since 2001).

We are recovering the pages and files from backups. It's necessary restore one hundred pages. Inform us via web-form about damages till the end of the year (if you see that a picture is absent or php errors)

Part of files were restored from PM Backup Suite storages.
