2) Users need PCIWRITE assistant

• the bridges may change if you update BIOS, disable devices
• Input: PCI.exe logs, output: PCIWRITE commands
• OR.. boot without ACPI, write PCI data to log, generate the sequence of PCIWRITE commands

ACPI personal assistant

• Call pci.exe, Does the PC has PCI BIOS?
• call iasl to decompile ACPI tables, analyzes OS, OSI and recommends to user try combinations of Windows NT, or Windows XP or .. Windows XP SP2, or ..

  grep -i windows xxxx.dsl ?

• The script should write simple messages:
  • "NO PCI BIOS!" or "PCI BIOS seems OK"
  • Try OS =, OSI = or "No need to try OS"
