MCE plugin

System requirements:

• -

CRC Plugin for Microsoft Remote Control and Receiver v1.0A for WinXP MCE

The only tested device is Philips (0x0471, 0x0815)
aka "Microsoft Remote Control and Receiver v1.0A for WinXP MCE"

Installation

• Download USB drivers for MCE
• Make backup of current drivers, copy patched versions to x:\os2\boot\

  usbirc.sys
  usbohcd.sys
  usbuhcd.sys
  

• Modify CONFIG.SYS:

  DEVICE=x:\os2\boot\USBIRC.SYS
  

• enable MCE plugin in CRC
• reboot
• Start CRC

Restrictions

• The receiver should be connected to PC before starting CRC.
• The plugin uses polling (querying the device state every 100 msec)
