Чем ArcaOS / UEFI отличается от ArcaOS / стандартной?

  • 1) на жестком диске теперь надо по-другому создавать разделы (тома)
  • 2) жесткий диск теперь можно организовать в режиме GPT
  • 3) OS2LOGO другое
  • 4) эмуляция DOS другая.
  • 5) взаимодействие с видеокартой изменилось, Драйвер Panorama VESA теперь обязательна. (по-другому что-то там с видео прокладка кака-то)

ArcaOS 5.1.1 - DOS works again

DOS virtual machine works again (it was working on Core 2 Duo, and didn't for i5). Install ArcaOS in UEFI mode to use DOS VM.

PNG icons on Desktop

eCo Software: it's a significant achievement that we have created PNG icons engine for OS/2 Desktop. and designed the set of system icons. In other words, we have modernized the external view of OS/2.
